President Faye of Senegal granted citizenship by Wike of Abuja

Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the president of Senegal, was met on Thursday by Nyesom Wike, the minister of the federal capital territory.

Official business brings Faye to Nigeria, where she will meet with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, according to the divinejams.

As the president of Senegal touched down at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Wike accepted the president’s greetings on Tinubu’s behalf.

He was presented with the symbolic key to Abuja and awarded honorary citizenship by the FCT Minister.

This key, the minister said, gave the president of Senegal all the benefits and rights of a citizen.

It was also a way to show appreciation for the friendly relationship and close friendship between Senegal and Nigeria.
