After Sunshine Stars’ win against Rivers United, the Ondo State administration was pleased.
The rescheduled match between the Rivers United and the Owena Waves took place on Sunday at the Ondo State sports complex in Akure, and the victory was sealed with a goal by Awosanmi Promise.
The triumph was attributed to the club’s recent repositioning, according to Mr. Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, the State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development.
He gave props to the Sunshine Stars as a whole for their hard work in winning.
