According to a statement issued by SC Ibrahim Abdullahi, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, the tanker was apprehended while its route to an undisclosed destination in neighboring Katsina State after allegedly stealing gasoline from a Kano filling station.

The petroleum product would be returned and offloaded at the original authorized filling station in Kano once the investigation concludes, according to Abdullahi. Offenders will face legal consequences.
