The order for the arrest of Edison Ehie, chief of staff to River State governor Siminalayi Fubara, has been set aside by Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

The order also had an impact on Progress Joseph, Jinjiri Bala, Chibuike Peter, Adokiye Oyagiri, and Happy Bennett.
Several individuals, including the chief of staff, were brought before the court on charges of terrorism.

They were soon declared sought by the court when the charges were brought against them.
In contrast, the court reversed the decision in an order dated April 25, 2024.

The order was issued without jurisdiction, according to Justice Nwite.
