German national team player Jamal Musiala has revealed that his father is of Nigerian descent and is a constant source of cultural instruction.

During his recent appearance as a guest on Chef Serge Ibaka’s popular show “How Hungry Are You,” the 21-year-old made his statement.

While Musiala did confess to having never gone to Nigeria, he did say that he had extensive knowledge of African cultures and Nigerian history from his childhood.

Musiala expressed her long-held desire to visit Africa, but a lack of time prevented her from ever making the trip.
