The new minimum wage template reportedly included a proposal of N105,000 from Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy.

In contrast, Onanuga dispelled rumors that Edun had proposed a minimum pay of N150,000 in a Thursday post on his X account.

He asserted that Wale Edun, the Honorable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, has not suggested a minimum wage of N105,000. The other side’s narrative is completely untrue.

You may remember that President Bola Tinubu had given Edun two days to submit a revised salary structure.
