Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has authorized a monetary assistance of N45,000 for every employee of the State Unified Local Government Service and Local Education Authorities in preparation for the Eid-l-Kabir Sallah celebration.
This was revealed in a statement by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, who is the chief press secretary to the governor. He explained that the government is trying to help its employees out financially during the holiday season.
The financial support will be provided in two parts, as stated in the statement. The first part is a loan or advance of N30,000, which will be paid back in three installments of 10,000 Naira each month throughout July, August, and September.
The second part is a sallah gift of 15,000 Naira, so that every worker in the state can enjoy the Eid-l-Kabir festivities without worrying about their finances.
“The financial assistance will undoubtedly bring relief to numerous households, enabling them to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid,” said Malam Falalu Bawale, Head of Service for Katsina State, who expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the governor’s effort.
