Teni was the target of criticism after posting a video of herself genuflecting in front of IBD Dende on an airplane on Friday under her X handle, as previously reported by divinejams.

Despite accusations of smuggling, most of the commentators criticized her for being associated with IBD Dende.

Teni responded on Sunday morning by saying she had no knowledge of any wrongdoing involving IBD Dende. She went on to say that the businessman had shown her courtesy in 2014, before she became famous, and that she had always held him in high regard.

The ‘Askamaya’ singer made it clear that she does not stand with lawbreakers.

Before her explosive outburst, she met IBD Ende in 2014, and he was incredibly kind to her, she stated. As a result, I feel love every time I see him.

I must admit that I was completely unaware of any illicit dealings with him. Just let the law do its thing; I have no sympathy for lawbreakers.
